With over a decade of experience in physical therapy and neuroscience, Dr. Gomes-Osman is a leader in the field of brain health and aging, blending clinical expertise with cutting-edge research. A Board-Certified Physical Therapist with a PhD in Neuroscience, she is dedicated to translating evidence into real-world interventions that improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Her work bridges science and practice, empowering individuals to maintain mental sharpness, physical vitality, and independence.
As a Harvard-trained Behavioral Neuroscientist, Dr. Gomes-Osman has focused her career on developing and implementing interventions to promote brain health in older adults. She has published over 40 scientific articles and presented at 25+ national and international conferences on topics spanning Neurology, Physical Therapy, Neuroscience, and Primary Care.
Dr. Gomes-Osman is also an experienced clinician and educator, having spent nearly a decade teaching Neuroscience to Doctor of Physical Therapy students at the University of Miami and leading NIH-funded research in translational neuroscience. Her work has been recognized in Time Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Times, CBS News, Medscape, and Healthline, including the Time feature “Here’s How Much Exercise You Need to Keep Your Brain Healthy.”
